Nachdem ich von den Deutschen-Charts eh schon weiß, dass man mit denen eh nichts anfangen kann, habe ich mir mal die UK-Charts genauer angeschaut. Dort sind ja in letzter Zeit einige gute Bands gekommen. Allerdings ist derzeit dort auch nur Schrott zu finden. Entweder nerviger HipHop mit Dance gemischt oder nur dummer Dance-Dreck von Künstlern die ich noch nie gehört habe.
Deshalb bin ich mal wieder zu meinem Alt bewerten last.fm zurückgekommen. Dort findet man über die Funktion “Ahnliche Künstler” doch recht häufig gute Mugge, ansonsten kann ich mit Abstrichen noch MySpace empfehlen oder den besten Web-Radio-Sender abosulte.xtreme (früher Virgin Extreme), der mir bisher so untergekommen ist, allerdings labern die inzwischen bisserl zu viel!!
Ein gutes Lied war dann doch noch in den UK-Charts, wobei das weder mir bisher unbekannt war, noch die Band aus UK kommt… es ist Kids von MGMT, eine Band aus NewYork, bestehend aus den beiden Musikern Andrew VanWyngarden und Ben Goldwasser. Mit ihrem neuen Album Metanoia haben sie es letztes Jahr auch zu uns geschafft.

Sonst höre ich derzeit viel Anti-Flag, eine tolle Band mit super Texten und guter Einstellung. Ich hätte gerne auch mal in Deutschland eine Band, die der großen Koalition mal verklickert wie scheiße sie eigentlich ist. Und dass, das ganze Politiker nur dumme Heuchler sind, die an dem einen Tag das versprechen und an dem anderen Tag dies machen. Als bestes Beispiel dient derzeit die neue KFZ-Steuer, die urspünglich mal der Umwelt zuliebe umgebaut werden sollte. Jetzt wird eine Obergrenze eingebaut und so die fetten Schlitten bevorzugt. Ich könnte kotzen!
Ich hab jetzt heute mal den ganzen Tag über absolute.extreme gehört. Ziemlich cool soweit, nur zeigt er irgendwie deine Titelinformationen an. Kann man irgendwo nachschauen was man da hört?
Also, man kann schon rausfinden was man hört, allerdings leider nur zeitversetzt, bei Last.fm (http://www.lastfm.de/user/absolutextreme) hat absolute extreme einen account und dort werden die zuletzt gehörten Lieder angezeigt. Allerdings ist das immer erst etwa 15 Minuten nach dem gespielten Lied aktualisisert.
